Barbara Acheampong, MBA, EA, owner of Rhema Financial Services provides tax, accounting, and bookkeeping services to individuals and businesses throughout the country.

Our clients are small business owners, corporations, S-corporations, LLCs, and partnerships, with fewer than 25 employees and less than $10 million in gross sales.

Barbara is an Accountant and licensed Enrolled Agent (EA). With more than 10 years of experience in individual and small business tax and accounting, she actively represents individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service with regard to tax audits, collection issues, and tax problem resolution.

Trained in all technical aspects of tax and business planning, Barbara has the expertise and in-depth knowledge necessary to help you with any tax scenario that arises in your business or personal life.

Barbara is a member of the Massachusetts Enrolled Agents, as well as the NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents) and is also a Certified QuickBooks Advisor.

Prior to starting Rhema in 2018, Barbara worked as a Senior Tax Advisor with H&R Block and Tax Examiner with the Internal Revenue Services, (IRS).

She earned her bachelor’s degree in BA (Finance) in London, UK and MBA in Accounting from Umass Lowell, MA. Barbara worked as a Financial Auditor in an oil refinery in Ghana prior to migrating to the U.S in 2010.
